In 1977, after working for various assurance companies and brokers, Clive Steggel decided to start his own firm of Insurance Brokers and Independent Financial Advisers in Northwich, Cheshire.
The first premises were known affectionately as the shack (opposite the Regal Cinema) moving a couple of years later to 10 The Bull Ring, then in 1985 moving to the current premises of Parrs Bank Building.
CRS Consultants has over the years developed more modern methods, becoming computerised for the first time in 1979! The firm has been a limited company since 1st December 2007 and continues to enjoy steady growth.

Parrs Bank Building
Considerable work was undertaken on Parrs Bank Buildings premise during the late eighties, in fact the whole building was lifted over 4 feet using the old fashioned lifting methods: various jacks, pumps and manifolds supplied by the Brine Board which are all now on display at the local Salt Museum. Parrs Bank Building was the last building to be lifted in Northwich and Clive can tell many interesting stories of this event.
